It's Time

So... I've been thinking about it for a while and I'm going to do it, I've decided. All of my blogs are now going to be rolled back into one! So, all you readers out there, must to revert back to using which will be the only blogspot for me. Oh, or you could check my facebook because all of my posts are imported there.

The blogs used to do this:
Pointe Them Out-A blog that talked about dance. It contained reveiws of youtube videos and other dancing videos.

You Know You Wanna-This was a blog that I kind of started and have been slacking on. It was a reveiw blog, for me to reveiw anything I felt like.

Project Oreo-This blog was about school and all the things I do there.

All of these blogs are now retired.
Oh, and Run-in Streets was a blog by my sister and I and it is also retired.

It made me mad enough to yell!

So, Friday at lunch I stood up and verbally assaulted two students at lunch time. There probably was a better way to handle the situation, but the way i did got the job done. The students were standing on the tables and trying to view a confrontation that was all the way across the lunch room.
I had no problem with trying to get a better view, because I was trying the same, and not it wasn't that the students were in my way, no the thing was the last time people stood on the tables, lunch got shortened by like 10 minutes. Now, I don't know about those students but i personally have to many things to do at lunch to have it shortened by ten minutes. In addition to meetings, and practices, I have to get my lunch in an already overcrowded lunch room! I have no patience for those who will take an action by themselves wherein punishment has to be administered to the whole group!
You may say I should take it up with the administration but they aren't going to change and if they do that'll be cool but until that time comes I'm going to yell, and scream at any student who decides that they should place their disgusting feet where I put my food!

What he said...

So it's senior year and there's alot going on, but I really don't have time to talk about all of it because I'm actually in yearbook class right now and I should be working on the yearbook and stuff..
Anyways, at the beginning of the year, we had an Executive council meeting before school started, and Mr. Jovanelly came in and kind of told us about the state of the school, and encouraged us to voice concerns and have a question and answer thing. Well by the way, none of the concerns, to my knowledge were appeased, but anyways, he said that one thing that was in effect per district mandate, was a field trip freeze. There were to be no field trips until further notice.
I was fine with this actually, because the freeze was to be universal. Things that would be allowed would be like the district rally because it is an integral part of student government, and other trips that were integral parts of clubs and organizations. Well, since that freeze, the freshmen class, of 2012 has gone to the Greek festival, and then planned a trip to the fair, which was canceled but replaced by a trip to Carowinds. There is also a physics trip to Carowinds, yet the cross country team cannot be afforded the money to go out of the city for meets. The band can't be given the resources to go and play at the football games. I simply can't understand it.
One of the concerns that I had at the beginning of the year, that I actually still do have is about lunch scheduling, specifically freshmen lunch, which is on a 20 minute stagger; 3 times a week I believe they go after us to lunch, once with us, and once after us. This is to help with congestion in the lines. This is the first year this has been integrated, but to the school's defense, we have had an increase of enrollment this year also. This isn't the only change though. This year has seen a closing of various courtyards that students used to eat in and two places students could order from.
The problem with the staggered lunch is that most of the clubs and organizations at our school have their meetings at lunch. Out of the clubs I'm in FBLA, FCA, Model UN, and LiveWire(the dance team), all have meetings at lunch. We do want freshmen to be apart of our organizations but there lunches make that difficult. We only have 10 minutes with them and for FCA that means planning basically 2 services with a 10 minute overlap. To me, you're doing the students a disservice.

Where I'm at

So, I really haven't written any significant posts here this year, but that may be because I've been out there doing stuff!!! LOL.

Anyways, got back to school, jumped into a myriad of things and now that I look around this is what I see myself doing:

I run cross country after school, you know working on them muscles! Trying to lose weight before wrestling season, there's like probably 10 that need to be lost! Problem is I've been having pains everywhere, but you know gotta push through and not tell Drom!

Let's see, I'm also in Student Government which takes up alot of time and encompasses so much. I mean, I'm helping my sister because she's a freshman and she's in the student government, and I'm creating amazing ideas, some of which I have to farm out because my mother won't allow me to do. The latest idea I have that I will do is a Fashion show, the casting is Thursday for all of you in Bloggerland, but the meeting for the casting is Wednesday. I have more ideas, but I want to get through with that first.

FCA, is still here and is getting bigger. Meetings every Wednesday morning, and then services on Wednesday at lunch and on Fridays before school and at lunch. We are trying to branch out, and really get the students involved, and we are doing so many activities and events outside of services, but then again that's still cool.

Oh, and something new, I'm on the dance team. We've learned like 1 minute of choreography, from this kid named Gage that goes to my school. If you don't know about him, don't worry, you will before long, he's amazing.

Let's see, anything else? Prolly just stuff to add onto StuGo. I mean Homecoming is coming up so there are those meetings. geAK has kinda slacked off and I'll allow that for prolly till after Homecoming and then we gotta tighten up. Oh yeah, and then Ghetto Blasters, a new music group I'm managing. I've been doing some stuff with that but... yeah I think that's about it.

Oh, and BTW the link for dance and music are not for what I'm talking about here but it's other stuff related to dance and music by me.

... I prolly won't be editing my blogs much any more for the simple fact that, I am supposed to be starting OD and focusing on geAK. When I do have time I'll edit as much as I can and I may put some of the OD stuff on here... I don't know right now..

This webbie was something I found and it's kinda just a note for me but you might can use it..

And it's started!

School has started and I plunged into it quickly! I had great plans of grandeur and things and I even started planning. I put things in place so that when I got to school all I had to do was push a ball that I'd already molded. The fashion show had promise. As a matter of fact, it was to be my legacy. And then I got to school.

Everyone wanted to be involved, everyone also wanted to add their comment. They saw the show like they saw it and wanted to turn it into that. I'm not even going to lie though, I'm not the friendliest person, and I wanted the show my way. I relented though a bit. It went from a show with a dance, to a show with a mixer, to a show with a mixer but a dance performance. It went from a show with that would give proceeds to the student government, to one that gave them to the senior class. And then things started to get out of hand.

People began to assert themselves, and dates began to change, and I stopped. I wanted to change, but I couldn't. Parts of me didn't want to. Well, really I didn't want to change. My name was on this thing and if the show would happen, the show would happen like a show! A real fashion show! And then I made the decision, it's over. Mikelle Street's name would no longer be connected with this show.

So this is my farewell. My farewell to chairing the Airport Fashion Show...

So, I've been contemplating this post for a while now, basically writing and rewriting it my head a couple of times, and I've only now just forgotten all of the crafty things I'd thought up to say. So that leaves me only with this:

All the scores are back, and it seems that colleges have redoubled their efforts to rid the world of trees, one brochure at a time. The problem for me is, I don't know.

I don't know if I want to go to college, and I don't know if I want to leave. I don't know whether I should redouble my own meager efforts or whether I should slack off. It's just complicated!

Partly though, it doesn't matter what I want. By a decree from those on high (ie my mom and grandfather) I am required to go to college. That solves that. Which college though, is up to me and the admissions. I've been geting ready for this time ever since 7th grade though. You know, visiting colleges, taking standardized tests, talking to people, and yet, I still haven't decided! There were places that I was settled about like, I wasn't going to school instate, yet now, out of my 4 present choices USC is one.

Another one that, frankly before this summer experience, was my number one choice is Washington and Lee. It has fallen from it's lofty position because of the blind eye to alcohol on campus. The school has an "honor code" that they require that all students uphold, but if I'm not mistaken, getting plastered is not behaving like a "gentleman or gentlelady!" Oh, and plus the place is in the middle of nowhere. That could be a good thing though...
